In a nut-shell, it’s the process that effects the visibility of a website in a search engine’s “natural”, “un-paid”, or “organic” search results. The better a website is optimized, the higher the results one will expect in modern search engines like google, yahoo or bing. SEO may target different kinds of search queries including images, local, or video searches.
